Customer relations is the process by which companies promote customer satisfaction and, moreover, loyalty. At its most basic, it involves managing communications with customers, particularly customer questions and complaints, and resolving their issues quickly

There is one basic step. Listen to their whole story let them get it all out and then break it down piece by piece to find the breakdown point and then work to resolve it quickly to their satisfaction

The ultimate goal of most customer relations programs is to build long-term relationships—those in which the customer keeps buying the product, service and retuning and recommending it to others. To meet this goal, companies may go to great lengths to build a strong reputation for lavishing their customers with special services, discounts, gifts, or other benefits or just plain good fellings about there experience.
